We will be attending the reunion in Bakersfield 2015 with a new engine. We have high hopes the car will run mid 5 seconds in the 1/8th mile. Best we have turned so far is 5.80 at Tucson A.Z We will also be pitted with the Cackle-fest cars so we can have great exposure to the great fans there, but still make exhibition runs! It is now Sept. 29th 2015 and only three weeks till the Hot Rod reunion in Bakersfield,Ca. I can't wait to bring the Seevers Wiesner and Owens A/Gas Supercharged 33 Willys to the reunion. Every thing will still be 1964 Specs. with an Isky 505C Magnum cam and Vertex magneto along with a 2 Port Hilborn Injector. The car is ready with a fresh 1962 400 cu.in. Oldsmobile power plant. It has new Alum Rods, new crank w pinned bearings. #23 Olds heads w titanium valves. I've up the compression one full point and changed the fuel delivery system. We hope to see you all there!! |
